"As part of its Strategy for the Protection and Welfare of Animals 2012-2015 the European Commission commissioned a 'Study on the welfare of dogs and cats involved in commercial practices'."

The study took place over a period of one year, from early 2014 until early 2015. However, the Commission had delayed the publication of the much-awaited results for over a year, finally publishing the Final Report only in March 2016, but with no accompanying plans for action or comments.

1) Can the Commission explain how it intends to share the results of the Study with the European Parliament and Member States?

2) Can the Commission outline the next steps it will take to address the issues uncovered in the Study and the timeframe for these actions?
