Motion for a resolution

I. whereas, in order to ensure full transparency for Expo 2015, the Open Expo platform is openly publishing all information regarding the management, organisation and conduct of the event, thereby setting what may be regarded as a good example of transparency;

Amendment

I. whereas the Open Expo platform has been publishing in open format all information regarding the management, planning, organisation and conduct of the event only since September 2014; whereas the call for tenders started in August 2011; whereas Milan Expo 2015 did not guarantee full transparency, thus allowing increased corruption and the infiltration of criminal organisations into the infrastructure works, as established by the investigations carried out by the Italian authorities;
